Who We Are
We are Generation Freedom.
A movement.
A voice.
A promise.
A rising tide of people from every background who believe that freedom is not optional — it’s a human right.
We are survivors of human trafficking.
We are families of victims.
We are advocates, allies, law enforcement, students, teachers, pastors, workers, and leaders.
We are people who refuse to look away.
We believe in a future where no child is sold, no woman is forced, no man is enslaved, and no person is left behind.
We are not waiting for change.
We are demanding it.
Our Mission
To end modern slavery in our lifetime by building a nationwide and global movement that:
Raises awareness about the realities of human trafficking and forced labor
Demands bold action from elected leaders — starting with a $3 billion annual investment
Supports survivors and centers their voices in policy decisions
Disrupts trafficking networks at the local, national, and global level
Inspires everyday people to become freedom fighters in their own communities
What Makes Us Different
We’re not just a campaign — we are a generation of doers.
We use our platforms, our votes, our stories, our influence, and our compassion to move this mission forward.
We are led by survivors, not just advocates.
We fight for prevention, protection, prosecution, and restoration.
We unite people from across the political spectrum, because freedom is not partisan — it’s human.
Our Vision
A world without slavery.
A nation that invests in freedom the way it invests in defense.
A generation that refuses to be remembered for standing by in silence.
About Us
Generation Freedom is a broad nonpartisan coalition, founded by the country’s leading anti-trafficking experts, to build public and political will for greater American leadership to combat human trafficking. The Generation Freedom coalition is coordinated by the United Way Center on Human Trafficking & Slavery.
We believe that with adequate leadership, the United States has an historic opportunity to break the back of human trafficking and modern slavery in our generation. Will you join us?
